How far in advance do we need to book our newborn session?
The sooner the better, to ensure I have availability in the month of your due date!
when do newborn sessions take place?
newborn sessions take place ideally between 8-13 days old.
They are scheduled for a weekday, typically starting between 11:30&12:30 based on the lighting in your home!
how far along in pregnancy do you schedule maternity sessions?
maternity session are typically scheduled in the 28-32 weeks range!
What are the steps after we fill out the contact form?
I will reach out to you to gather more details about your needs. Once I have all of that information we can determine which package best suits your needs!
How long does it take to get our photos delivered?
Individual sessions (including families, newborn, engagements, etc) take approximately 2-4 weeks. When your photos are ready, you will be emailed a link to your gallery!
How does the gallery work?
The email containing your gallery link will have a password for viewing and a PIN for downloading. Depending on the package you booked, you will either get to choose a certain number of images for download (with the rest available for purchase) or access to downloading the full gallery. *IMPORTANT NOTE TO BACKUP YOUR IMAGES TO YOUR COMPUTER AS WELL AS AN EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE*
Where can we order prints and other items?
YOUR GALLERY WILL HAVE A 'PRINT STORE' IN THE TOP RIGHT HAND CORNER OF YOUR PRIVATE GALLERY. YOUR SESSION COMES COMPLETE WITH A PRINT CREDIT FOR USE TOWARDS PURCHASE OF PRINTS & ARTWORK.
I HAVE CAREFULLY SELECTED U.S. COMPANIES USING THE FINEST ARCHIVAL MATERIALS TO HAND CRAFT YOUR CHERISHED MEMORIES.
FRAMED IMAGES ARE PRINTED ON 100% COTTON RAG ARCHIVAL MATTE PAPER, THESE PRINTS ARE MEANT TO LAST OVER 200 YEARS. PRODUCED ONLY FROM THIS PROFESSIONAL LAB EXCLUSIVELY AVAILABLE TO ARTISTS.

Do we need to pick a location for our family session?
We can work on that together! (Excludes specially promoted mini sessions with pre-designated locations)
Can we bring our dog to the session?
I would prefer that you did! (Please note that often times, an additional person attends your session with the sole purpose of tending to the dog when not needed for photos!). Please let me know in advance that your furry family member will be joining :)
Are the travel fees included in your packages?
Travel fees for Indianapolis and surrounding areas are included in the packages. Travel farther than that would be discussed based on specific needs.
do you have a studio?
I am a lifestyle photographer, meaning USING NATURAL LIGHTING AND SURROUNDINGS, MY GOAL IS TO PRESERVE THE SMALL, natural MOMENTS IN TIME.
I STRIVE TO GIVE YOU IMAGES THAT REFLECT WHO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY TRULY ARE. I WILL GIVE YOU GUIDANCE AND INSTRUCTION ON WHERE TO BE AND WHAT TO DO, BUT I DO NOT CURRENTLY WORK OUT OF A STUDIO WITH ARTIFICIAL LIGHTING.
